Lower grille valance color

[My wife's nightmare]

Ok I know I have more important things to take care of before this will become important, but what is the factory color for the lower valance on the front of a 63? The one on my 65 and my daddy's 65 were argent silver and both are Custom Cabs. The 63 has a white grille and I couldn't determine any original paint on it when I took the truck apart. I will be going back with a white grille and bumper so I was just trying to plan ahead for painting the valance. Thanks ahead of time!!

I seem to remember this topic coming up quite a few years ago. I don't recall what the conclusion was though. It seems to me most lower valances are painted the lower body color. A Google image check shows that appears to be the case.
