I’m looking for a set of drop beams, doesn’t really matter who made them. Let me know if you’ve got anything. Located in East Tennessee but will pay shipping.

If you are on Facebook check out the crown vic swap pages and see if anybody has some they are taking out.

Thanks, that's kind of what I was hoping for. To find someone doing a CV IFS swap. My truck is 100% original and holds a lot of sentimental value, I just have a hard time modifying it in a way that can't easily be reversed.

Harrison: I don't know how close you are to Marrieta, GA, but there's an old school shop there that may be able to get you "down" without buying beams.

**The link to the thread on the HAMB doesn't work, but I copied & pasted all the pertinent info in my post

**Keep in mind the thread in the link is almost ten years old, so don't be surprised if their price has increase in the meanwhile:)

Look up Sid Drapal on Facebook or John Pennington. They both make drop I beams. Sids are stretched just like a drop axle and John's are fabricated from old beams. Both are excellent quality. I have a set of John's waiting to go on my '76 if you want to know what they look like.

62bigwindow: The OP (Harrison) said he's looking for a set of drop beams, which would be for a twin I beam truck ('65-79)

Sid's has talked about doing drops for Twin I Beams, but if they finally did build the fixtures, they haven't added them to their webpage..........

Hes doing them now. Give him a call. There are current updates on his Facebook page. They offer 3" of drop. John's Rods offer 4.5''.
