KS House Bill 2595 signed today by the governor and will probably be enacted in July.
Previously 1949 and down could be directly titled from a bill of sale
but 1950 and newer sold on a bill of sale required MVE-1 VIN inspection.
The change will allow direct title from bill of sale for vehicles 60 years old and older,
raising the previous requirement from 1950 to 1962 and increasing 1 year every year. “
Now all those “junk trucks” might be worth a dollar-two-eighty
