some (old) sad news
Farmer Bill passed away last summer.
I Never saw it posted here, but here's his obit
https://www.fariesfuneralhomes.com/obit ... d=21698845
definitely one of the finest, most enthusiastic Slicksters I ever, ever met. A great loss, in my mind to us.
Not sure who he willed the F-100 XL to but I'm sure he made sure it ain't going to Barrett-Jackson
long live Farmer Bill's presence
It's a race.. Will hell freeze over or will JC finish his truck first. Stay tuned..
Re: some (old) sad news
Is that the color of the truck ?
I always thought it was more of a white
Very cool you got to see in person

Re: some (old) sad news
Pat it was a light beige-y colour, but I think he repainted it (against everybody's advice), maybe a hair darker the second time. The F-100 XL letters look smaller in the top picture than when I sat in itslick4x4 wrote:Is that the color of the truck ?

Looks like it may be a repaint from beltline moulding down.Definitely smaller lettering, and the addition of Bill's name.
