Is a F100 4spd can be used in a 3/4ton PU and is the same?
I have a 66 F250 with a wore out FMX HD auto. I have a F100 4spd tranny to put in there. Is the 4spd floor shifter in the F100 the same for the F250 65-66 ford Trucks? I was thinking of putting in a C6, but I would have to change the drive line,linkage . Or will I don't have to? Rob Thanks

When I first put the 390 in my 62, I used a 4spd out of a 2 ton truck (I think, fella told me "big truck"). Had to bend the shifter to clear the dash, but it worked. Bent it to match one from an F100.
