It's also in the best shape out of the three I've seen.
This guy claims that 9 of these were made, which I believe is about the same number one of our members here said, a while back.
Curiously, this one also has I-beam emblems on the fenders (along with the rest of the obvious '65 front end), like this other one had...
*EDIT* Same with this one that I forgot about...
Another one of those funky extended cab Uni's.

Do they have to have those rear fenders? I think those would look alright if they got rid of those things. Would definitley give it back the sleek uni-look it had.
Interesting truck though. Wish I had that cab space in mine.

I've gotta agree, I don't see the "why" for those rear fenders. They totally ruin the natural good lines on a unibody.
I'm gonna assume here that the differing grilles had something to do with the actual year the body mods were completed. They must have slapped a current model grille on to help with the sales aspect.
Now the I-beam emblems are a whole 'nuther matter. I assume they still have the Uni frames & front suspensions under them (especially since the red one clearly has the early style 6 bolt front bumper), so I'm assuming the red inserts in the emblems say something other than "I-beam".
Maybe "Extend-o-Cab"?
I'd sure like to get a nice up close look at one of them.
