I bet you can almost smell that paint burning off that new engine. That first time firing up is almost euphoric :twisted:

you should have gone for a 4v 390 though... haha
'63 with 390 & lots of juice. But never enough. Always want more.

Looks great! Just out of curiousity, what compression are you running? I've read some of those 352's are real screamers...

Well, unless you have the distributor in 180º off by accident. :oops: :lol:


So, this engine is new new, or sorta freshened up? Just wondering, because the paint looks like it's already cooked off the exhaust ports.

i am not sure what the compression is. I pulled the engine out of an old 66' f250 i have. Just realised this morning that it was sitting too far forward so i need to lift it out and move the mounts bach 2 inches.
