Heart transplant

Post by kid2 »

Well my 65 is getting a engine/trans transplant. Matt had a 390 built for his T-Bord and it is setting in my garage. He and I were talking awhile back and he suggested I put it in my truck so it just wasnt setting around. I fianlly decided to go ahead and do it. Will be my Winter project and will probably do my power steering and disc brake swap also. Should be working on my 64 but it should not take to long to do this to my 65 so I will be able to get the 64 back in the garage so it might be ready for SS-08 in KC next Year.............Kid

That's kind of a radical, truck nut sort of way to get an automatic in there is'nt it?????? Robin will be sooooo happy not to have to listen to the shifter rattle. Thanks, Lyman

Not to OT Kid but,

It is easier to ask Forgivness than to ask Permission

I'm starting to realize after buying another project this statement only applies if you actually receive forgiveness
Someday I'll get another slick :(

I was laying vinyl decking yesterday, with my buddy's dad, who told me he was getting another dog. His wife (of 50 years) had just informed him that morning, that if he got another dog, she was leaving.

He asked her "Is THAT all it takes?"

Projects work the same way. And, they bitch at you a LOT less. Like a dog.
It's a race.. Will hell freeze over or will JC finish his truck first. Stay tuned..
