that is a nice uni... outside and inside, she looks perfect... under the hood could use some love- if nothin else, a modern brake system. And the engine!!! '63 was supposed to be Ford RED! (wasn't it? that's what mine caame with, and i think it was original) haha the blue looks good with the rest of it though.

it's funny. We can't fathom molesting a good truck to make a hotrod, so we choose to get a rusty old beater that needs 10x the work to be nice... haha I feel this way most of the time, but nonetheless, I question why we feel this way... I guess it is just a reverence for what ol Henry made, and such a fine example as this ought to be put in a Ford Museum... But that would be a tragedy too. These old girls wouldn't be happy behind glass for the rest of their lives.
'63 with 390 & lots of juice. But never enough. Always want more.

I am beyond the point of being so cheap that I buy the worst thing I can find to hotrod.
I also have a "collector" mentality too though, I find something that's pretty nice to do but won't hack up something that should be preserved.
If I was going to get a Stang to rod, I would have bought one with a good body & interior but I wouldn't even consider messing around with the 85 GT I have, way too nice of a car.

I would almost rather buy the nice one. I hate fixing rust and if you pay someone to do it sometimes you are better off buying a nice vehicle to hotrod.

Just called the guy with the Blue Uni, he is a dealer and has the reserve at $8200. :o

Also just called the guy with the white one, I may scratch this itch I have.

And the Orange Prs Streeter has a stout 347 with 2 stages of N2O.

Man, that blue one's a beauty! There's no way I'd have the heart to rod that...I'm with Greg, it would have to go back to bone stock. :)

Good luck with your itch.

Thanks, last time I had a itch this bad the Doctor had to prescribe Permethrin, brand name RID, to cure it. Still have the little comb.
