Parts truck

Post by Uncle Skip »

Posting here because its expenisve to ship parts.
Got a '62 parts truck and it's pretty much shot. But I do have a few parts if you need something special.
Clear Texas title and matching door tag anyone?
It also has great window regulators if anyone needs them.
Passenger door with glass is in good condition.
And other minor shit like nuts, bolts, handles, door locks, and ................................??????
Let me know what you need and I'll see if I have what you need.

Mike, My 65 cab is missing all the knobs and cables for the vents down in the kick panels, the other knobs on the dash that should be there aren't, and I am not sure of what else. The heater box is still in it, but who knows what condition it is in. Plan to take it out for prepping the cab for paint, so will check it later. Let me know if you have any of this stuff, ok. TR

Hey Truckrat.

My 65 vents in the kick panels open manually by hand.

I thought 64 and down used the cables ??

I might have some stuff you need.

Guys. I'm sorry I let this one slip.
I still have the title and door tag, but everything else is gone.
The hinges were sprung...... not from bending down but because the hinge pins were worn out.
Why don't you put new hinge pins in your hinges. Its a real easy fix.
I gave the one good door to TruckRat, but the rest of the truck was rusted beyond rescue. The heater and vents were probably good but I didn't remember to check back here for requests.
I really should have saved the dash, but it was more trouble than it was worth.
I promise I'll do better when I get another one.
