There is a guy who lives down the street from my parents. He is a retired Colonel and he maintains his vehicles like this. I bet this guy is a retired military officer. He bought it new in 1966 and maintained it like it was new. YOu don't find that kind of care for these vehicles very often. If it is original, then it is worth some money
Cheers,

WOW, if I was rich that would be in my collection! Hate the bed rails but what a nice survivor! That bed looks better than my 06!

i totally understand, but one bid at 15k and the reserve is not met? i would say 15k would be the ceiling on a truck like that. it will interesting to see what if it goes for or if it sells at all.
that being said, it is a very nice truck and seems to be very well optioned as well. i would definately give it a good home if i could afford it.

that's a lot of $$$. I Think Barrett Jackson doesn't sell much of anything for less than about $30k. They may be disappointed at what these ol girls will bring...

But DAMN she's pretty. that is a blast from the past--- one of these old girls that looks like she could still be sitting on the showroom floor...

I think it is important to remember that this truck is an unusual example. A restored truck can never be original again. No matter how nice a job you do it can never be like this one. The value of vehicles like this are often double or triple the norm due to the fact that so few exist. If the right buyers are looking at this truck I would expect it to bring 25K due to the fact that it is the most desireable style and well equipped with options (too bad it did not have PS PB and auto trans!). There was a 67 like this one at auction a while back and it was a no sale at about the same price but later sold for over 20. Hawkrod

I notice it's a dealer selling it. If the guy did some research & removed the stuff that's not original like the driving lights, extra CC door handle guards & bed rails (never mind, that would leave holes)...then found a correct heater valve, it might be worth it to him.

If that truck was wearing a Ranger package, I bet it would easily be over 20K right now.
