Hello all, I am the proud owner of a `65 custom cab short bed. It was my daily driver for awhile(2 yrs) but I built it a garage. Looking for a core support, then all will be well.

P.S. Been browsing around the site, Lotta nice trucks!

BTW a repop 61-64 core support can be made to work. Pretty much involves filling & redrilling a bunch of bolt holes.

I have ordered form these guys before.. seems to be good stuff.

The 61-64 rad support will need some revision. somewhere in here is hidden Banjopickers how to on what is needed to revise that to a 66. It isn't in the how-to section however, that would be too easy.
It's a race.. Will hell freeze over or will JC finish his truck first. Stay tuned..

Thank you gentlemen, for the welcome.

Its my understanding that the core support for `65 is much like the cab on a `56, one time deal. Every time I find a carcass of a `65 (which is rare here in sunny Mia,) same problem, battery acid. Never compared other years to mine but if its possible to tweak one to fit I`d love to know how

PS what is a pixel, and how do you shrink it?

A digital photo is made up of hundreds/thousands of pixels (square dots). To shrink the photo you need to change the size of the photo in a photo editing program. If you're using a PC you should have Microsoft Photo Editor available. Click on image then click on resize, then save.

Have at last posted a photo in my gallery. No small feat for me. Photo shows my almost complete shop/loft that I`m building in S.C. If you look closely, in the first bay you can see my baby...sleeping...awaiting my return.
