Just thought I'd make a separate thread, to not hijack Effie's thread any more.

Anyway, great lookin' Slick! You've done an awesome job on it, very inspirational! It looks like you painted it yourself?

This is a great shot. :thumright:

:iagree: PFM and I met Mike at the Goodguys Show back in October at Texas Motor Speedway, and got to see this truck in
person. This truck looks better than new. I hope he comes to KC next August so you guys can see it first hand. Talk about raising the bar!!!
Mike is a nice guy, too. Hope to see him again soon. TR

And now for the peace de resistance (sic), John Gilbert - Slick member and editor of Custom Classic Truck magazine was gracious enough to do a spread on this truck coming up in the January issue. Be sure to look for it.
Thanks John. The Slick family really appreciates the privilege of having one of our own in your great mag.

I need to get myself a subscription to that magazine. It'll have good company at my place...right along with about 8 other subscriptions I have.

Man, a guy goes back to Chemo for a couple of days and starts feeling bad for himself and then see's a post like this.
Thank you, thank you and thank you one and all. Slick fan, first before I go on please let me appologize for mis-spelling Utah! I spelt it like we talk it he in Texas "you tall" (Utal) sorry won't happen again.
Skip Your the best well next to my wife. Yes did the hole truck frame off in the garage at the house with instructional help and hands on help from Skip, Bronco Tom, WinR and some others Like Mad Max.
Still looking forward to getting her over to the Langford's here in Houston to get the Second gear sincroniser fixed, she just can't handle it when I try to put the foot to the 382 Stroker. I myself will be looking forward to seeing the January additional of Custom Classic Trucks since that was a hole surprise to me also, TruckRat I wish I'd personnally be in better shape that day I met you guys, was having a hard time remembering where I was let loan names, but I was just doing good to make it to that show which I had my heart set on for a year. But now I'm looking forward to next year and Kansas City not that far away.

No big deal, I just assumed you lead-fingered the keyboard like I do so often. If it wasn't for the 'preview' button before I post, I'd really be in trouble sometimes.

Sorry to hear about your Chemo stuff, I hope it works well for ya. We don't want to be losing any more Slick members around here.

I don't think you copied all of the link info. Seems to be missing a closing bracket.
