Thanks Again Guy's I have seen so Many Sweet Truck's In the album section,I am amazed I can't say I will like this place More than Chocolate But I am sure I will enjoy myself here, I will Be postin some more pics in my album within the next few weeks.... 1 good thing is I have asked all the Dumb Question's on the other Ford truck site! Oh c'mon. Tradition says you have to ask one of the following questions upon arrival here..

1) My bed does not match the rest of the truck, Anyone know where I can get a bed for my '63?
2) how do I add power steering/disc brakes to my straight axle truck
Here's a really dumb one only asked by those who don't last here long:
3) where do I get a mount for my small block chebby to fit these trucks
4)I have a 61 unibody. Will my '65 cab fit?

And just for laughs, Here are some sample answers from FTE:

1)- Maybe someone put a Chebby bed on your truck by accident
-a '65 longbox will work just fine
-is it a flattdeck?
-There are 2 of them in Peoria, Illinios part # HKL12I928 and one in Podunk, Iowa. Tailgale part # LKLJ1223434. FYI Ford never installed Chebby beds on any of their trucks in 1963.There were several built in spring, 1992 with Chev beds, but they were all in Police service vehicles Part # 56745RTY.

2)-Get them out of a Dodge truck, 1952-1963 Worked for Me!
-I dropped them right in from a '79 f250
-is it a flattdeck?
-There are 2 steering boxes in Brainerd Wisconsin, part # 32463TRYUI and one in Frankenmuth Michigan. Steering wheel part 34362748SDFGH
FYI, Ford never installed power steering on trucks before March 13 1998, part # 1214ERTYUIO.

-All my Fords have SBC's. never leave home without one
-is it a flattdeck?
-there are six in Willow Run Pa. Part # RTI908765 and 4 in Eureka California. Engine mounts part # OYT87656798. FYI, Ford installed these between April 21 and April 22 of 1943, mostly in big trucks with air conditioning

4) - in a word, yes
-I used one from a Dodge minivan, worked for me
-Is it a flattdeck?
-There are 3 in Tupelo Missisippi, part # OYTT45678 and 3 in Winslow Arizona. Door # O8T88765687 FYI, the correct factory terminology is Integral Cab Ad Nauseum Tu Brute Et, or ICANTBE for short.
