The Ruby Red Slipper account
to Fill you in
http://fordtruk.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=3518
The account has over $300 pledged, and an extremely generous benefactor, who for now will remain unnamed, has offered to MATCH all contributions up to $500. So get them checks in the mail, and YES we take and prefer paypal.
PM me for details.

this is still a little over the top for me, like pinch me i am dreaming or something along those lines.
having a real hard time figuring out how this all started, my original post was supposed to be funny, not a solicitation.
i am quite overwhelmed that you all would do this for me.in fact i think its a very rare thing and i am very grateful to the members for thinking enough of me to even consider such a plan.
whether those who contribute wish to be named in the forum is up to them and they can decide.
my wife is quite at a loss for words as well but said i need to go on a trip and it would do me good.
of course i have said many times before this is the best group of people i have never met.
now that is going to change.it will be great to meet all those who attend.

I spoke to Brian on the phone Saturday, I tell you guys, this was the right choice of members to get there. He is very excited and happy to have been the recipient of your good will, and you know who you are. No way he would have made it to SS from the frozen tundra otherwise. So, just a reminder to get those pledges off in the mail, I want to forward all to him ASAP so he can make his plans. I also need to tally what the secret benefactor has to match.
Thanks again to all who helped out.. it's not too late if you still feel like kicking in..
PM me.

OK today was a good day, between a couple more generous donations to Paypal and a couple good sized checks in the mail today we are up to about $430 now. still a few checks to straggle in, and I will be kicking in besides covering paypal fees and bank fees, so looks like we will match (at least) our generous benefactors match fee of $500.
Ice, better ditch the red flannels, I hear it's warm in KC in August
Note to contributors:, If you have a check in the mail and I haven't acknowledged receipt of it by email or PM yet, please email me at Canuck Underscore J at yahoo dot See Eh

or PM me, so's I don't miss any before I gather up the bundle and send Ice the cash. Thanks guys

Skip. I have the good fortune to live in a subdivision where some Genius at City Hall figured they would name all the streets after Indian bands. Even ones no one on Earth ever heard of before,
especially out here in Blackfoot country.
Guess they were running out of good ones by the time they got to Squamish...I have to spell that EVERY time
