Anybody ever know of, or seen this truck ????

Post by insane1 »

Hey, I'm from Dallas Tx and I bought this 66 in 1988, sold it in 1990. I belive it was originally black. Some of the details:

429 w/c6, motor was moved back into the firewall quite a bit, full metal tilt frontend, bed shortened down to under 4ft in length, silver w/ big red, and blue metalflake, diamond pleated interior.

Crazy little truck, one of several cars I had in high school. Always wondered about its history, or what ever became of it, if anyone knows anything about it it would be much appreciated.

Thanks, Mike

I haven't seen it but I gotta say it looks odd and cool. It's different and it IS short. Would be cool if you find out who is owning it now or come across it.

The truck was a one of a kind, thats why I put it on here thinking at some point somone might reconize it, and yea the truck was very short, that is why the motor was moved back , for better weight distibution.
Today there are a few thing I would do diffrently, first and formost is lower it. Wanted to do it in high school but didn't want to spend the money on beams.

Anyway, thanks for the intrest.
