I Have a '66 f100. The P.O. had the washer pump disconnected. I found a wire hanging in front of the fuse block under the dash that came from the pump. I hooked it up to the cig. lighter fuse (temporarily) and the pump works ok. I would lik to connect it to the one of the fuse block terminals. Should I put an in-line fuse ? If I do what size fuse should I use?
Thanks, John.

2 choices:
either you have a wiper switch that activates the pump by pulling on the knob, in which case there is a tab on the back of the wiper switch for it.
or you have the push button type switch ,(above the ignition) then one wire comes from the back of the ignition switch with an inline fuse, the other goes out to the pump.
