hello from the snow zone

Post by stoneagemerc »

This is my first time on this site, I think y'all have done a great job here, I used to be a semi regular on the old site but work got in the way of the hobby, I still have the Heap (66 Merc 390 C-6, P.S). I had many plans for the truck, still do, but had to put every thing on hold. Hopefully I can get my rear in gear and back into the shop.

Have a great day

Hello and welcome Snow Zone from the Rain Zone. Actually as I look out the window it has started raining again here in beautiful and green Oregon. Sometimes taking some time off actually helps energize you into getting the project finished. We are trying to get a meet and greet set for sometime in late June or early July on this side of the world (slick stock 08 is in KC this year). Maybe you can slip on down and mingle with "us southerners".

Stoneage, where you from? We got a pretty healthy Alberta presence here. Most of us are from the old site too. Anyway, welcome back. Our lives all seem to give our hobbies a kick in the pants spmetimes

Had a friend lived in Saskatoon for about 5 years.
Said, "It's not the end of the Earth, but you can see it from here.."
It's a race.. Will hell freeze over or will JC finish his truck first. Stay tuned..

Thanks
I have a 66 Ranchero ( Falcon front end Fairlane rear), It's gotten even less attention than the Heap. Always interested in other Ranchero's. I'm tossing around paint schemes in my mind, thinking of doing the truck and the "car" in similar or matching paint, maybe , maybe not.
