F 100 Tshirt. Thanks guys.

Post by Phil »

I think I better hold off until I here from a higher up if its OK to make a profit on these. I get a vibe that its not cool so I'll sit on it for a while unless I hear something.

In the past I have given shirts to the site owner but now that I think about it I'm not sure how to contact him/her. I may have jumped the gun :(

Sincere apologies for bumming anyone out

Messing with a blue shirt, Needs text (dunno what yet, Slick60, F-100, Strait Axle Style, etc...) and some more minor tweaks.

Not sure about slick60 name ownership stuff etc. If its cool to use maybe on the back or above the breast and the Truck art on back

Reaction?
Prolly won't change much unless I get an overwhelming "yuck"

*art deleted

Not sure I'll do it but if there is enough interest I may go ahead and make a few.

8) Phil, I like the concept and the image BUT! the strait axle may upset 1/3 of the club chronologically speaking, may I suggest "F100 60`s STYLE "

just my two bob`s worth!

HELLOOO! Phil, I`ve got 2 x66`s, and yes I would buy 1 or 2, now if it said 66 F100 351 Clevo i`d probably buy 5 or 2 axles are better than one, get my drift? mate

I like the shirt, not the slogan
had 2 straight axle trucks, still have one, NEITHER ONE has a straight axle anymore. Also I own an M-100 so I am out, twice.

PM Kid2 for info on "Slick 60's" brand ownership. It's this club's originator.

I say, I say, that's straight axle with a 'G' son, ya follah me boy?
It's a race.. Will hell freeze over or will JC finish his truck first. Stay tuned..

F100 = Nuff said

I like it. You do nice work. Any legal reason why you can't use "Slilck 60's"?

I like the picture and writing on back and no strait axle stuff, but creative and glad to see you do something for the members.

Aside from the spelling?

Honestly no, I haven't checked with the site owner and until I joined here I never heard of one of these trucks referred to as a "slick". While its catchy to me, if I do up some shirts and get stuck with a few I'll have to Ebay them to people who 'like me a few months ago, never heard the term.

I would prefer to do something more generic, sans Ford logo as well.
I could easily be convinced though to add it if there is enough interest.

I have sold shirts two ways

Risky for me: make up random sizes and sell em off and hope people buy em.

Giant hassle: take pre orders.

I prefer the former way- I try to gauge sizes maybe with a post but generally I'd order 20L 25XL 20XXL and maybe a few XXXL and a couple for kids (mine for sure). All one color

I did about 180 for the 460ford forum sold both ways.
Pre orders were hard on me.
Someday I'll get another slick :(

I'd prolly get one if i had an F-100.
Of course, in this case, I can retain my Frugality :arse: .

I like it! I'd buy one even though I don't have a Uni, Straight Axle, or a F-100. I would like one in a medium, but I could settle for a large.

Question: If you made the shirts in white, would it be possible to dye them to more closely match our own trucks?

Just an Idea,

Post by biggus »

put the image on the back and on the front where the pocket is put an F100 over the gear and lightning bolt.
If you make them, put me down for 2 xl's.
