30th Anniversary of the F100 Supernationals

Post by Long63 »

Is there group that is interested in going to the F100 truck show in Knoxville Tennessee?

http://www.f100supernationals.com/

Its May 15-17 2008.

I, myself, went last year and it was really cool. Last one I went to was in 1999 and that was in Pigeon Forge, TN. Not as much space as it is now in Knoxville.

Is there a way to show the "Slick 60's" logo or whatever there?

Mike

I'll be there, but I won't be in the 66. I'll either drive my 78 Bronco so I can do the parade or whatever truck I happen to buy in the next few days.

I've been going to this show for the last 10-15 years... I wish I could drive the lil '66, but it needs work before I trust it that far.

yes, i'll be there for the tenth year in a row, but then again i only live 40 miles away. i believe there is a place on the registation card that goes in your window for club affiliation, so if it is filled out we can recognize other members.

I have been told that this is the last F100 Supernationals. Pat Ford sold the rights to the show and next year it will be an all Ford show. Bet the Galaxy guys can't drive go-karts as well as we do.

I'm headed that way tomorrow. Going to stop over in Asheville,NC.
Checking in on Wednesday. Staying at the Holiday Inn in PF.
What's this about it being the last F100Supernats? I hope not.

I think I heard something like that last year. It hasn't been the same show since they moved it to Knoxville anyhow. *shrug*

I think I decided to drive my '78. Its a primer black 78 Bronco and it'll be topless. I'll of course be parked across the street with the other red headed step kids. Look for me in the Bronco parade.

The Show

Post by 1LOW66 »

Well, I doubt that I'll be back next year. I'm probably going to find another show to go to that's closer to home. Unless they have the one for the Slick's in Pigeon Forge that everyone keeps talking about. Has anyone heard if it is going to happen?
