Being screwed over, big time

Post by Johnny Canuck »

So I was taking to my buddy who just got back from Mexico. He told me gas where he was in Mexico was 31 cents a litre.
then Yahoo has this splash on the Canadian page saying how lucky we were to ONLY be paying $1.25 a litre.
so I went HERE and checked out what some of the other Oil producing countries pay, since Canada is supposed to have Oil reserves to equal or exceed Saudi Arabia's.

Iran $0.33/gal $0.09/litre
Saudi Arabia (Riyadh) $0.45/gal $0.12/litre
Kuwait (Kuwait City) $0.78/gal $0.21/litre
Venezuela (Caracas) $0.17/gal $0.05/litre
Mexico (Mexico City) $2.36/gal $0.62/litre

Thank you Canadian government for the giant salami up my arse. The only oil producing nation paying more than the US, and/or more than 62 cents a litre. I sure feel great about BOHICA  :arse:

Well JC, you're not susposed to win, and certainly not break even. You are just susposed to quietly hang on as best you can and not complain, just keep smiling!! As my old gray haired supervisor used to say: "show all your teeth, even if you are gritting them".

what the hell???? 5 bucks a gallon and you got the biggest reserve there is? that's stupid!!!

I wanna go down to venezuela and get about a million gallons of gas (oh I dont know, 100 octane if they got it?) at 17 cents.... and put it in cold storage with a bunch of Stabil in it.... damn!

Or you could sell it at normal prices back home... That could be a good business to get into... buy gas for 17 cents a gallon and tanker it to LosAngeles and make about 5 million bucks a tank....
