How did you pick your screen name?
How did you pick your screen name?
Just curious
Mine came from the extra leafs under my hauler and Heavy because I pushed it around my yard for the 1st 8 weeks I had it.
Alan Mclennan has to be a secret code. Its just too obvious

My real name is Elvis Presley, but I didn't think anyone would believe that.
And John McLennan was one of the Beatles I think, but I couldn't remember if he was the dead one, or the one married to a one-legged hooker.
So I thought I'd go WAY out there and see if I could piss the doc off.

I just happen to like Slicks a lot.
Brace yourself, here's the long version...
Actually, I sorta like old cars/trucks in general...as evidenced by my big barge purchase recently, along with a bunch of other half-finished projects.
The first online forum I joined in 2002 (if I recall) was the result of looking for a grille for my '70 Charger...I signed up there to answer an ad, using the screen name "Charger Fan" & have been on a bunch of forums since.
Most forums I've used that same name (even on the 4-eye 'Stang forum), but when I joined this one, I decided to drop "Charger" in favor of "Slick"...because really, I've had my '66 3 years longer than my Charger, so I must be a real fan, right??
A few years ago, I threw a guy a few bucks to make this for me to use in my sig line. I'm not usually this much of an attention monger, but I had this idea for a cool GIF & wanted to see it work!

Aren't you guys glad I don't have a flashy, blinky thing in every post I do here??

If you plant a yard, they'll tax the grass.
If you don't play nice, they'll fine your *$#!
