Slick 60's

I noticed several of the straight axle trucks in the pictures had front sway bars.
What is the general consensus about how much difference they make in the way the truck drives?
Did my little project about doing your own make any difference or help you guys?
Was it worth the effort or just a waste of time.
Were the aftermarket bars better?

I just obtained a sway bar about a week before I left for KC, so I haven't had a chance to install it yet. The 64 Ranger and I drove in convoy to KC, and after we got there, I got to ride somewhere with Doug. I was quite impressed with the lack of lean in his compared to mine. I will be installing mine very shortly.

The sway bar makes quite a difference in cornering and overall handling, if you drive a straight axle with one on you will be convinced!! Thanks for the info Skip.
