Post by 6166 Junkyard Dog »

several things under my skin after watching TV :x :?: :?: 'ssss
# 1 Do not approve of this early voting years ago you where always allowed at work to go vote this early voting is BULL Unless in the Military my ? if you voted early and you died then your vote should not count
# 2 Post Office voting thats bull just across TV 30% Of the votes not counted cause forms not filled out right THIS IS JUST PLAIN Laziness
# 3 Picture ID Should be mandatory period no exceptions....
# 4 How many illegal aliens will vote then they screw the country up then leave and go back where ever they came from They don't care
# 5 just where is Obama getting all this money if he is so loose with money and the way he is burning up the air waves spending it, then what is he going to do with all of ours in the GOV'T :?:
# 6 Speaking of Obama what is his problem with the AMERICAN FLAG :?:
# 7 McCain well hard to say since maybe he is getting old But at least he been in war POW etc.etc...
Anyway just will be glad when its over now on most of cable channels here now has political BULL On it

Boy if I feel it would do good write in Hillary's name, My Name or just don't vote and have talked to so many that are sad :( that some not want to vote cause of all this media bull trying to shove down are throats..

One more thing to gett off my chest,, 4 years ago at Fall Carlisle A bumper sticker was there that said Vote for the Good Oil Boys, Bush/Chenny instead of saying Good Old Boys should have been and thats why gas shot up like heck they made there millions now that they are leaving got our money gas has come down... they can say to our faces one lie but behind close doors they are laughing at us

Anyway just had to speak some politics here

Tom

It is important to vote...

This early vote is just that, A laziness and avoidance. on election day the polls will be watched like a hawk. Mickey mouse and friends can mail vote at least 100 times each on a mail in ballot. The duplication may or may not be cought.

And whats with park bences in Ohio being allowed as a residence????WTF?

This election is so far off the mark it not funny. If you think the patriot act shredded the Constution just wait till a stacked prez, senate and house do thier magic.

As far as money for Nobama? go to his campain. type in uncle bob and your card number... There is NO security in place to check digit code addy or zipcode like a normal card run by a legitimate merchant.. Now you know where all those millions came from in 199 buck increments. Imagine if you ran your card reciepts lik this to the tune of 600 million bucks. And they will even thank you for it!

http://hotair.com/archives/2008/10/29/c ... deception/

Read and judge accordingly. Yor Vote is Important!

I just can't bring my self to trust a guy that has managed to shade and obfuscate all his background. Sealed collage transcripts, 4 suits in federal court on is he reallly a citizen ect ect...Just TELL THE TRUTH, its not hard, your nose wont grow or fall off....your carrer might end but you can still learn a trade like plumbing.....

Yes most of the spin is the tingle Chris Matthews gets in his leg around the chosen one... The MSM has really fallen on the sword this time and they are suffering for it lower viewers, Papers are hurting and everything. I really dont watch news.

And just remember its the states child welfare directors right to look in to your state file to see if you have any back child support you bad boy....4 hits on a secure sustem in the 12 hours after the debate...Now theres trampling on the common man.. Ohio needs to clean house and borrow New Hampshires flag so they can wrap joe the plumber in it after the slaughter he was put through....

And as for polls.... The Media will never learn.. its fuzzy math based on previous models..

The 10 points one day and today the +2... If i spent 600 million to buy an election those polls should be more like 30 points.. not a tight race..Sheesh even John Kerry jad a 14 point lead one week ahead of the 2004 election.......in the immortal words of Gomer Pyle USMC "Suprise... Suprise"

Oh yea i am PISSED OFF........

Thats great Dave I agree so much, oh yes we are voting since we wanted to pick up some trucks but we wanted to be sure we where here for this so we put it off...

I really believe if I was going to run, instead of wasting a lot of money on ads spend some on TV To keep my name but then for 1 month straight give a day or 2 get in a truck or car with just a couple of aids don't tell anybody where I am going and just travel the USA See a farmer in the field stop get out and talk see how is coping with this economy, then small town stop at the local country store hang out talked to people the real people out in everyday USA Lifetime, just knock on doors of strangers to see how they are doing and as a running candiate for president care to stop and see how times are, stop at truckstops, rest homes, big and small companies/factories, I mean show throughout the country big and small towns I care, Like Ike hit few weeks ago Drive right in the middle after its over see somebody cutting wood get out and help man show some feelings, I know in my heart that if somebody approached me it would stick in my mind, I mean show Americans whether it be a mechanic, fireman, waitress, homeless or whatever profession that I care,, I see old films of years ago how politicians did it, I know your risking your life nowdays but let the people see what you stand for and that you care Just don't feed us a bunch of Bull

Just read your link there Dave which also lead me to this

You guys got some scary stuff going on down there. The unfortunate part is that it effects everybody not just Uncle Sam's 50 finest. POTUS to be will directly have bearing on many aspects of our life up here too in the great white north. Hope your citizens make the right choice so we can get on with fixing this mess.

Like all of you, I am tired of the lies. :x

If we behave ourselves in this thread, perhaps the moderators will allow it. I say this should be our "political venting" thread.

Tom, I feel the same way you do as far as 'campaigning' goes. I'd mimick your plan completely. Drive my old truck around and just talk to people at lunch counters. But the reason they don't is that's not where the money is. And the only way to win elections is with a lot of the green stuff.

I'm to the point I no longer pay much attention to the questions about Obama. Why? Because wether it's true or not doesn't matter as far as my vote. I'm against his policies, period. Everything else is just a distraction. He's a socialist at best. Couple that to a Pelosi/Dean/etc congress of crazys in the majority and it's looking ugly.

What frosts my cake is how we wound up with McCain winning the primary when I have yet to meet a single person who is excited about him. Who are all these people that voted for the guy? There were at least two viable alternatives that would have run a far better campaign.

I'm in Ohio. This can't be true. We would burn Columbus to the ground

As for Joe the plumber I also live in Toledo. Every one I come across that knows him has something to say that says the same story. "He's a shady douche."

Sorry but McCain is behind due to bad tactical decision making.
He's beating himself, not Obama or his money.

I like McCain. I could vote for him but I don't want the supreme court stacked any worse and I really hate Palin as a VP.
Someday I'll get another slick :(

I know I will get slammed for my opinions but here goes.
Personally I am tired of the GOP, period. What they say they stand for I am for 100%. But what they do is something else. I believe in gun rights, balanced budgets, low taxes, etc. But every time we get one in the budget goes way up and the constitution is shredded. To may people have fought for the constitution and I think its the best out there.
As far as voting early I am all for it. It has worked great for me. The reason is I got to work early and get off late. So I would not be able to vote unless I took time off which I can't afford in this economy. I work 4,ten hour days and have about a 3 hour round trip. As far as picture ID its a good thing as well.
As far as all the crap on the candidates like Obama doesn't like the americain flag, isn't a christian I AM SO TIRED OF THAT BS I COULD SCREAM!! I have heard some on McCain but not like I have on Obama. I got an email that said he didn't have any flag on a airplane, thats false. You are required to have a flag of origin on a airplane. I have had people tell me a bunch of this crap and I always ask them what is their plan to make America better and their response is always another GOP spin of attack and not a plan. As far as McCain goes with his military service it is highly respected by me. But the one thing that bothers me is this. In 2000 he ran a respectible campaign and I really liked him, he would have got my vote. But today with all the attacks from him and palin I will not vote for him. I think he was even feeling guilty when he backtracked when he said obama was a fine family man that they just had different ideas or something to that effect. So where does that leave us? Anyway for me in that last 8 years I have been laid off and had to take a job at half the pay at the same time I see the price double for everything. If anything will come out of this year maybe its that the GOP gets a slap in the face or that a new party comes out of it that is more like the founding fathers were for. This trickle down crap has been replaced with you can't raise taxes on businesses it will hinder growth. Its the same BS. All it means is the wealthy get a break on the backs of the working class. That to me is who the GOP is fighting for. The ones who are rich. But wait theres more. Many times the dems are just as bad giving away everything to the people who won't work while those 90% in the working class get shafted again. So after all this I am voting for Curly. The Iceman has a election button in his pictures. It is sad to think a dead knuclehead could do a better job than what we have now but he could probably do better. I guess with moe and larry helping it couldn't get worse.

I learned a long time ago that talking to an American about politics is like talking to a someone in downtown Tokyo about raising cattle, so I am staying out.
Anyway this is how the world would vote, if the world could.

Boy thats the truth JC, and I live here. I work with a group thats 80% for one of these people running. They will rattle all the "good" talking points on their candidate and then rattle the party "attacks " on the other. You can't even reason with them. Its like a cult mentality. To vote for some of these idiots running is like being a chicken and voting for Cournel Sanders for president. I believe if Cournel sanders was running and they were a chicken they would jump in the frying pot for him clucking the praises of fried chicken.

Willy. All politics is like that, unfortunately. You pays your money you takes your chances, but to vote for someone you have done no research on, or ignore the research you've done and vote for the party your father voted for, is foolishness IMO

Max what I mean by that is, you are definitely not speaking the same language, and it's not clear if you're even on the same topic.

And that gives the Ohio Government Agencies the right to do back checks to see if the guy has messed up in the past......He asked a question... and got a correct answer.....A glimpse of the truth. probably the only one we will hear till after the inauguration.
