Here's an email from the 460Ford.com site moderator regarding the situation:

We are having temporary problems with the website as of 11/28/09 6:25pm cst.

The host server had to shutdown the site due to some type of virus. The
website will be back up and running as soon as the technical problems have
been resolved.

Thank you for your patience

They should have had Kid as their moderator. They'd be back up & running by now! This IS THE BEST gearhead site on the web. Thanks to everyone involved.----David.

an interm site has been started for those to get their 460 fix. Not much for tech but it has the regulars there. Prolly a good place to follow the progress of the state of repair of the old site.

Let this be a lesson for us. They are starting to revert to primal behaviour already after a week. One can only imagine what would happen here if we crashed. I like to think of this little establishment as my only sanctuary from a crazy messed up world that we are in right now 8)

my exact feelings too. the 3 hour trojan a few weeks back was bad enough but we have Jimdog worship.gif so it was very short lived

They went to yellow bullet for awhile they sure fell off the wagon with their mouths right away. Like they were waiting for the chance to spew as so as no one was looking.

Here's the latest new as what is going on.

I'm working to get it fixed. There are some queries, that I haven't
changed, which are bogging down and were taking up to six minutes to run, so
the host shut down the site. I'm by no means a developer, so I'm
relying on a neighbor to help me out...he's hopefully available tonight.
Frankly,
this is a pain in the rear. I'll keep you posted

What I need is a team of computer geeks!!! I'm an IT project manager, but I don't touch code, it's all Greek to me. Guy that can help me should be able to get it, just need to get time on his schedule. Not a money issue at all. I'll see if anything can be done to prevent once we figure out the cause, it happened all of a sudden (researched the logs and did figure out that it happened suddenly, not a slow performance degradation) so it should be easier to pinpoint.

The guys are starting to use this temp site.
