I know there was a topic that said that someone had done this. But how is it done??? Can you just cut out the sheet metal on the later truck to work?

Yep. Idiot body man. One of a string of them.
The last guys who did the roof were good tho!

:oops:got to love those body guys JC
By the way what did your seats come out of?

They are '03 F150 seats. They are too high and I can't get them any lower without surgery to the floor pans, so they are gonna stay too high.
I would NOT recommend them because of that, unless you are 4'-6" tall. They do have integral seatbelts tho, helpful for when your forehead is banging on the roof.

matter of personal taste i guess.
just curious, do you not like it on the uni either ?

That's right , it is personal taste, and thats ok. I'm sure there is a lot of stuff i do that people don't like and thats ok to. Just makes us individual.

I do like it on the uni , in fact thats what i am building ( slowly ) bbw 62 uni.

I have to somewhat agree with Bill. While I love a BBW Uni, a BBW 65 is just not growing on me.....yet.

I don't think it looks too bad. I guess because I'm not used to seeing the big back window, it always looked kinda funky.
What's with the trim on that truck?????????

Maybe it's just the initial reaction from never seeing a non uni bbw, or never even giving it a second thought about converting a non uni to bbw. But who am i to say what is right or wrong , my appologies.

Bill, dont sweat it.
i made comments about 1/2 ton shortbeds for years, then i found a deal on a f100 short uni .
also seeing all the different trucks at slickstock gives you a new perspective on things, would be quite boring if all were the same i think.

hee, hee. you need to have a disclaimer in your sig. like mine. it's for those occasions that i post faster than i think and is like a prewritten apology for things i might not remember typing.
