fuel filler neck for 61

Post by unibody madness »

Hi, I'm new to the group...I'm working on a 61 step with my boy, and in the process of spending all my time and money on two unibodies,... 61 short, and 61 long,...right now I'm trying to find 1 7/8" fuel tank connection hose x3 without having to take out a loan
anybody have any ideas?

Make sure they don't give you a chunk of radiator hose, that will disentigrate fairly rapidly.

Well, at least the price sounds like they were on the right track for fuel hose.
I bought some from an industrial hose supply place a bunch of years ago. They sold it by the foot, so I have an extra piece left over...somewhere around here. Anyway, you might try your luck at a place like that.

The stuff I bought was definitely a lot more high-tech than the original stuff...probably will last for a 100 years, give or take.
