Thinking of painting the 66 two toned
Where is the break point for a two tone paint from the factory,I was wanting to just paint the roof white and was wondering if there was a chrome strip to go around the back of the cab or does it seperate on the trim down the sides. Jeff

Jeff, from what I have gathered on the net, the break line for the two tones is the factory body line where the chrome side moulding goes. I have also seen them where the lower half and the top of the cab are the same color and from the break, around the doors and the windsheild pillars are all white. I hope this helps, Anthony P.S. check out E-bay, there are a couple on there with two tone paint right now.
Mine breaks right on the body line at the roof just above the gas filler cap. I would suggest painting the white first then the other color. This way the white will be the easiest to mask off. If you are doing a complete repaint then you dont have to mask in that area till you got it shot with the white.

I have a nice pic IF I can figure out how to post it.

There are no stupid questions. 2 ways-either ignore the ridge line-or you can mask it both ways so the paint build-up is equal. Then when you colorsand and buff-no ridge line. You can also clear-coat to help.
