Pate swap meet is coming in April

Post by Uncle Skip »

Guys.
The big Pate swap meet at Texas Motor Speedway in Ft. Worth is fast approaching so you need to start making plans to attend.
Will be at the end of April, starts on Tuesday and runs thru that Sunday.
I'll be posting information here as it becomes available.
If you can't find it at Pate, you don't need it.
This is second only to Slick Stock so be there; there will be a cast of thousands.
Start saving money, start planning your trip. NOW. You do not want to miss this one.
Trust me.
I'm sure TruckRat, PurpleFlyingMonkey, Max, and others will be adding their two centavos worth so stay tuned to this Bat Channel.
We'll see you there.
Uncle Skip
I'm not arguing with you. I'm just explaining why I'm right.
Pardon me. Does your deaug bite?

Yea I will add my 2 centavos worth... It actually starts on Thursday not Tuesday... :D

It will be fun again this year. I have a lot of stuff to do and to get ready. Remember all I will be having the BBQ/Food/drink thing at my place Friday Night. It was a blast last year sit around and BS. Plus this year I get to show off my crew and what I have gotten done on it. Last year we got to see the power window converstion. This year we can actually see it working in a slick. Also Dave is getting his hydro boster setup this weekend so we can see that also.

Info on pate....

http://fordtruk.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=8989&highlight=pate+swap

cheerleader.gif hurrah.gif jenkins.gif The 2009 edition of the Annual Pate Swap Meet at Texas Motor Speedway will be April 30-May 3. We have more than double the spaces (15) that we had last year(6). We will have the Slick 60s sign out there and will be located in Zone 3, Block 78, spaces 914-927 and 929. If you go to their web site
at pateswapmeet@aol.com you can look at the area map of the zones and find our spaces. Chris will be doing his friday night cookout again at his place, and we have a great place just down the road we all have breakfast together. You are all Welcome to come hang out with us and have a "cold one" Cheers when you get worn out from walking. Bring a chair with you, and you can leave it in our spaces while you are out "bargain hunting" in the largest portable garage sale in Texas. By the time you get through it all you'll be needing a place to sit a spell. Come see us at Pate, or as we call it "Mini Slick Stock South" woohoo.gif
See ya there! Bolt.gif TR

Just took another look at the map TruckRat mailed out and I think there is a question.
As I read the map attachments from both e-mails, you go into the swap meet area walking toward the Speedway on Gasoline Alley. Then you turn left at 11th and the guys should be on the right about half way down.
PFM, TruckRat. Want to check me out on that?
U@ss
Just two more weeks. I'm so excited........ :D
