got the brake hoses on today and started bleeding the brakes so i can get it moved to the driveway to swap in the 360, but the master cylinder is leaking into the cab. looks like i need to get a dual pot for disc/drums.
anyone know a good place to get a proporsioning valve for a 73 up truck? lmc wants 250$.
anyone know if i can use a dual pot drum/drum mc and plug the rear hole just to get enough brakes to get up into the driveway?

Chris ....why not just use a factory one. Unless you are doing something way out with the brakes. You can even hook up the light to let you know of uneven pressure( blown line)

tim, the factory p/valves are 250 from lmc. i haven't priced one from the local parts house yet, but i can't find one on thier websites.
i understand that i need the disc/drum p/v and not the original metering block that the 66 uses. correct?

oh no. those are very distinctive. it's the chunk of indoor/outdoor carpet and heater hose that sets those off.
