I thought i bought a 1961 F-100 Unibody for $500.00 with two front end clips come to find out title says its a 1962 F-100 Unibody. I've had it for about 7 years, done nothing, still in trailer. I found Slick 60s.org through another search engine. I will be putting up pics of this truck. I have a 1961 Harley Low Rider Motorcycle and I was born that year so I thought It'd be cool to rebuild everything 1961. Have a '61 Ford Falcon Ranchero. Seems like everyone help each other on this site, so it'd be great to get rebuilding tips. I'd like to get started the Rolling Chasis. I have a 351 Windsor ready to install, 9 inch rear end, but need tips on motor mounts and installing rear end, changing front end.

Welcome, this is a great place to get information on your slick. I like Slick4x4 I am a 62 and married a 61, have a 61 and 63 uni.

There are a few options for front end, what do you have in mind?

Pictures are a must.

Welcome.

All you need for it to be a 61 is the correct 1961 grill, Otherwise no one can tell without running the VIN.
