Pate update

Post by Uncle Skip »

BroncoTom, me, Winr, Roger, and Max have our reservations at Best Western in Roanoke courtesy of PFM.
We will roll in early (before noon I hope) Friday.
If anyone needs anything let me know and I'll go thru my stash and bring it up if I have it.
Make a list, check it twice and whatever else happens, do NOT let Max get in front of you while you're trying to shop. He has a very nasty habit of getting all the good deals before anyone else even knows they're there.
Wanker.
Did he gloat about the power steering unit he stole from a blind, crippled old man down in the country yet?
Shame on you Max. Shame.
Anyway, we're looking forward to seeing everyone May 1.
TruckRat. Camping out again this year?
I got your camping out.
I get to sleep in a king sized bed, with air conditioning and color TV, have a hot shower in the morning, and shelter from the storms.
Bwahahahahaaaaaaaa

I'm not arguing with you. I'm just explaining why I'm right.
Pardon me. Does your deaug bite?

Sounds tempting going to have to look into what it cost to go.

Could use some southern hospitality about then. :D

Camping Again?

Post by Truckrat »

What do you mean again, Skip. This will be my first time to camp at TMS. You might be thinking twice about poking at me if you stayed more than one night, ya wanker! Not all of us can live like that.
I guess if you just HAVE to lay up over there in the lap of luxury whilst us ol boys sleep under the stars, you will. Ya think you can ever hang around more than one night? OMG, it would take an act of congress wouldn't it? Oh well, you'll never know what kind of stuff you miss out on.
See you and the guys Friday, ya wanker! Lol! TR

Maaan, that's just a rotten way of saying I waited until the beer was gone before negotiating.

Looking forward to seeing everyone on our yearly get-together!!

PFM-Chris, let us know what to bring!

Wanker??
Alan.
Forgive TruckRat.
He has no clue what a wanker is..... he's from Oklahoma.
Er ah, that's a territory of Texas if you don't know where that is.
An Okie is a person who didn't have the good sense to stay put in Texas.
Anyway, I doubt he remembers when he actually camped out last unless he has checked in with his wife.
We'll see how tough he is when the tornado's and thunderstorm's start hammering the speedway.
No way man, I am not opening this door...........................
LMAO

Skip,
I am looking forward to the swap meet. I have a little bit of time off at that time, so I am going to go up on Wed.
I got reservations at an RV park close by.

Moondog.
Be sure to get all the guys phone numbers so you can hook up when you get there.
There will be a lot of folks up there early.
BTW
All of you are Constitutionally prohibited from buying ANYTHING before I get there.
If you do I'll hate you forever if you buy all the goodies before I get there. 8)

Wanker indeed!

Post by Truckrat »

Skip, I got the term Wanker from you. Figgered it had something to do with texas slang and not applicable to Okies. At any rate, NO BAD WEATHER TALK any more ok! We want nice light breezy days and starlit nights so we can all "pop a top" and enjoy our annual visit to the largest portable salvage yard in Texas. Any references to anything but nice weather is bad luck, so put it all out of your mind. Yeah, I am going to try camping out again. As I said before, it IS the first time I have camped at TMS. The last time I camped out was in 07 at Muscle Car Ranch in Chickasha, Oklahoma when then tropical storm Erin blew thru there and had to bail out of my tent and into my truck. All my stuff got soaked except the clothes I was wearing. Had I known it was coming I would have left early. We do have a contingency plan in place for weather this time. Just a bit over a month away, guys and gals. Looking forward to seeing everyone, and Skip, if ya don't want to miss all the goodies, come up Thursday. Lol!
