Where at in Paulding? I'm in SW Paulding/Temple/Villa Rica area. I went to the Villa Rica cruise in. Those folks don't stay out late at ALL. 7:30 and they were leaving, I was like, what the crap, I just got here. Saw one slick, and a nice panel '55. Will post pics later.

I live off of Cedar Crest Road a few miles off Hwy 41 close to Bartow County. I have owned a dozen slicks through the years. Im currently putting a 2002 Lightning motor and trans in my 63 unibody. I also bought a 61 unibody a few weeks ago in Senoia found it on craigslist. Look forward to meeting you. Plan to make some of the cruise ins. I would post some pics but can not figure out how.

I might drive over one cruise-in night to meet you guys this summer. It's not that far from Birmingham, I just made that drive the other day to pick up a motorcycle for a friend. My 4.6 and overdrive in my slick should not use much fuel once it is up and going.

I am using fuel injection. I have already had it running briefly, just need the cooling system finished and the exhaust beyond the headers finished.

deviant1 did you use the factory harness or aftermarket? There is so much unneeded stuff in the factory harness it is going to take alot of time to clean up Im considering one form the Detail zone. Any pointers would be appreaciated.

Power by Ford, I am using a factory harness. I spent many hours finding out exactly where each wire in the harness went and what it did. After I was sure I did not need something, I would remove it usually by unpinning the wire from a connector. If you have not already, go to ModularFords.com and look around...that site has pinouts for about any moduar powered vehicle.
To keep things cleaner and simpler, I made up my own little panel to mount all the important relays and fuses. This made the wiring easier also.
