Post by ridgerunner »

i sold my uni to my nephew years ago, kicked myself ever since. he had engine problems and his [ mechanic ] strippes the truck and disappeared. the uni set in a feild for two years. i offered to haul it out of there for him. i got it home and asked him if i could buy it back. i will never sell it again.i am taking pics, but not sure how to post them yet. i put some on profile

Here you picture... There's currently a bug (at least I call it a bug) in the album making it harder to post pictures.

Keep us updated on your progress.

Not going to tell you what to do with your truck but you may want to read up on;
03 & newer Ford Crown Vic front suspension swap
Industrial Chassis Dakota suspension swap
Aerostar front suspension swap

I think you be pleased with what you see in those.
Mine is still a straight axle with a disc brake swap & No Limit reverse eye monoleaf springs. It is a much nicer driving setup than you would imagine it to be. Here is a pic of the springs and my disc swap for you to check out. All this can be done on a Satruday.

is the 03 and up crown vic swap the same for a slick as it is for the 67-72?

I saw one add that had a firebird front and rear in a Uni. looks like you can hammer just about anything into a uni nose.
