Bet you have some problems driving that with a four or five ricks of firewood. Nice pics, thanks for sharing. Rich My '66 is actually a retired farm truck from the mid-west so it has seen its share of work. It moved to California to spend its golden years as an airbagged lay about, leaving the work...

They are actually all 4 antique gold with ribbed trim rings and chrome lug nuts. They are early-style Ford wheels off one of my other projects. They were actually off my '59 truck that is now sitting on the wheels and tires off my '42 pickup. My '42 pickup now has American Racing Salt Flats on it......

Yep, it is bagged. It is a '66 so it has dropped I-beams and the front frame has been notched to let them swing all the way up and let the front crossmember touch the ground. It still has the 240ci straight 6 with a 3-speed manual transmission. I think the copper one just has an old-school tube gril...

If my truck didn't already have the dropped beams when I got it, I would have swapped out to the No Limit wide ride IFS already. I have had a couple of No Limit gas tanks and one of their forward tilt hood kits on a few of my different project trucks and I would not hesitate to use any of their prod...

Yeah, I got soaked running from EZ-UP to EZ-UP... LOL
I was really surprised how many people came out despite the rain. No drags or cackle-fest, but still a pretty big turnout.

Slicks from the Mooneyes Christmas Party

Here are a couple trucks I spotted at the Mooneyes Show in Irwindale, California this Saturday... http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2492/4185211415_b0104b9ce5.jpg http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4008/4185211599_cc3570b537.jpg http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2512/4185971606_b5fe5f6d1e.jpg http://farm3.sta...

I actually have the Chassis Tech beams and tie rod adapters on my '66 and so far so good. I commute a little over 60-miles a day in my slick and they have provided 10,000 trouble free miles so far...

Blow-by from a cylinder. Either by the rings or even a bad valve stem seal will cause it. My Y-block in my 59 F-100 does the same thing and it has since I have owned it. It is about time to rebuild the powerplant in the old girl...

Have you tried the Steering Arm Correction kit yet?

http://www.airbagit.com/product-p/ibe-101-drum.htm

They go on the steering arms on the steering knuckle and allow the outer tierods to bolt in place without the tierods coming into contact with the frame.

Hope this helps...

It is still on beams. The frame had to be notched to let the beams swing up enough to put the crossmember on the ground. With as much cutting and welding it took to get the dumb thing to lay out I could have installed a complete IFS setup with a big disc brake setup and a big anti-sway bar. There is...
