I have the gear ratios for the T5 from a 93 stang with a 5.0 I need to know if it was a cobra or not. Here is a sample of what I can show you... http://i63.photobucket.com/albums/h142/madmaxetc/Referance%20Pictures/th_GearingExample.jpg Not a cobra -- just a GT. The tires are close to a 31 -- I wil...

Okay cool - I will do some digging today to see if I can find out the ratio.

Also, is it true the higher the number, the quicker the car will be (not top speed, but out of the hole)?

I'll look for the tag. The gears are super tall -- the truck bogs down when I take off from a dead stop.

Also do you know if any rear end can or cannot take a new gear set?

Need new gears - help

Hello all. My 61 f100 has undergone some major transformations over the past year. I swapped in a 302 from a 93 mustang, along with the 5 speed that came with it. The problem is that the stock rear end has such tall gears that I can't take advantage of the power of the new motor -- not to mention I ...

New Fuel Tank Optiopns?

Hello all. i am replacing my 292 / 3 speed with a 302 EFI and a 5 speed. I am also putting in the no limit front end kit. I really want an external fuel tank to get the one out of the cab. I called no limit for this and the tank and the internal fuel pump is over $700 without shipping (probably clos...

Thank guys -- i think i am leaning toward doing a new front end via the No Limit kit. Since power steering was on my short list of upgrades anyway, might as well get it all done at once.

yeah i was going to buy a kit like the one shown -- i am not interested in trying to find everything salvage. Thanks for the tip -- the No Limit seems a tad more spendy than the MII type, but easy of install is a big plus -- plus if you guys recommend them, then i will look into it. I would love to ...

Mustang II front end conversion?

I have a 61 f100 -- i was looking to make some upgrades -- disc brakes and power steering being high on the list. While searching for a disc brake kit, i thought about the Mustang II front end. Found some on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TCI-MUSTANG-II-FRONT-END-1957-64-FORD-F-100-TRUCK-IFS_W...

Question for you all is where can i find a kit to buy brand new (not interested in junkyard fishing). Running lights work, turn signals work, hazzards work, but no brake lights. at first i thought fuse -- but all the other things work and i didnt think the brake lights would have their own fuse. and then again on the frame rail on the passenger side near the footwell?

and these will be on the bottom of the frame?
