are you set on using a garage door? it would get heavy and loos a lot of heat if you have to do a lot of in and out trips. i used a double barndoor. if you have the space to open them up i think it would be better at keeping the heat in and you could get some extra storage space as well. i picked up...

thought i had it right but better sure of that than sitting in the rain somewhere with a handful of wires.

i'm trying to work out the wiring on my 64 f250. i'm wondering what lights are supposed to be on when the headlights are. when i turn the parking lights on they all light up but when i turn the headlights on the front parking lights go out. not sure if its normal or i've got a wire crossed somewhere...

could always hit the wal-mart and get a few cheap rattle cans and go to town. see how it looks in each then sand and primer it back up for a good paintjob.

i've a bench seat out an early 80s gm. it bolted right in but is a little higher than a ford so not good for taller people but it will do untill i get the original redone.

now that is just sweet no matter how you slice it. great to see the old gals doing what they were made to do instead of rolling off trailers at a car show.

to be honest i'll drive or work on anything that has a wheel bolted on each corner. i've driven, wrecked, and rebuilt cars and trucks from all the us makers and a few imports.
i just think old steel is good steel, be it a ford, chevy, or even a honda. find it, fix it, and get it back on the roads.

i've got most of the body work finished up but have to wait for the weather to clear up before i get more pictures, hopefully before the end of the week. garage is way too small for that old tank. i got the hood fixed and the rust knocked down and smoothed out, waiting on some parts from lmc trucks ...

thanks for the welcome and the parts help. i have tracked down a few bits and have started the bodywork. if the weather holds and with a bit of luck it will be ready for paint before the end of the month.
