Re: Mexico's B Series Slick
What I understand is all were ordered from the US as partial cab chassis, then coach builders finished the conversion. Most were three door, earlier were often two door, the rear was finished to customer spec, (ie bronco tail gate style or side by side doors).. I've seen an image of one with a huge...

Factory 2 Speed Wipers
This set-up is from a 1966 F-250 that used the C3TE-E switch. Is anyone reproducing the gear box cover with the two wiper park terminals? As of 2014 they didn't but with all the new methods and sorces available I'm hoping something changed.
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Flyin' around the sandbox.
My Great Uncle went down in a C47 after dropping Polish Paratroopers during Operation Market. https://marketgarden.com/1/1827/cecil-w-biggs My grandfather was in a B17 I believe in the 317th bomb group then latter on in the war ended up a squadron leader P51 Mustang. I thought I was going to loose h...

Re: Flyin' around the sandbox.
I remember filming this. Pilot punches the throttles after the warning, but at the pressure altitude, it takes a moment for the motors to spool up to the commanded EPR. Too low gear is the last check and balance before landing on a runway when the radar altimeters remind that something isn't right....

Some years back I kept reporting problems with posting photos till the person in charge of site maintenance relayd to me they weren't going to fix it. I hated to see someone not give a damn about something the rest of us enjoyed.

Yeah, they make the 65 radiator support, 66 grille and the first 65 design accelerator cable. Go figure. I even sent DC the better 66 cable that doesn't hang up on the fire wall but nothing became of it.

Re: Stock 1965 F-250 Dana 60 Torque & HP Limits?
I have not gotten to pull out one of the axles yet. Did years ago seems it was a 10 or just slightly more of a count. If I remember right the end wasn't bulged on the machined end. Also the hub shape looks similar F1 I saw once. Could be a hold over from the flathead days. I am going to see if I can...

Stock 1965 F-250 Dana 60 Torque & HP Limits?
My Dana 60 came with the acorn spacers behind the axle shaft nuts. It isn't nor will be a hot rod however the end goal for the 430/462 MEL is over 500 lbs of torque @ 2300rpm with HP 350 - 400. 14,000 lbs will likely be the bulk of the heaviest weigh I tow. What are your experiences with our stock 6...

Thanks for sharing your methods. I feel more confident about seemingly simple cab mount and floor panel replacement.

Cutting Back The Clutter
In 2015 the 65 F-100 was mostly apart and ready to start cleaning up for paint. Things happened and it got tacked back together to roll around. I'm kicking the idea around to simplify. Make the F-100 road worthy, sell the 65 F-250, tractor and trailer. That would go a long way to cleaning up the sho...

I have a good set from a 66 F-250 from 76710 just for shipping. The cab and colum are different from your 62. Will they work?

Re: 1965 F-250 Rear Springs
Thanks, I had a set made at Alcan in Colorado. Thanks for the link, it is good to have other options. Last week I received the springs. They tried something else other than stock like I asked for. Just a hint here, I took video, pictures and typed out the measurements. All this confirmed my case an...

My Grandson Laythen is going to be with me this Year so I am looking forward to having him attend. One year I'll make it. Wished I had stopped back around 2000. I was in the Northern ...
