I've only seen those hat holders two places - New Mexico .. and Ohio. I've seen a lot of them in both, though.

They do! The passenger side latch is a little pissy, sometimes I have to close the door 2-3 times to get it to latch, but they don't come open. Mechanically the truck is in really good shape, its missing a lot of the original interior parts but runs like a champ.
