Alignment Question

Post by movinman »

I installed a DJM dropped I beam setup, along with disc brakes, and I am already noticing some inner tire wear on both front wheels. I have probably put about 600 miles on these tires so far. Is there a specific way I need to align the front end? I had read a comment a few days ago from another forum member that he took his dropped I beams off the truck because he was tired of going through tires. Is this normal for these kits?

Thanks!

you and adjust toe in, but not camber on those beams. i don't think anyone will bend the welded beams. do you also have lowering springs?

Yes. I used the springs that came with the kit. At least, I am hoping they came from that set up. I bought the whole deal, springs, dropped beams, and disc brake set up, from a guy on another forum.

Have a look here!, it may have your answer. I have DJM beams with 1 coil cut off original springs, no problem so far!
