I had the same issues with mine Wyatt. Looked good on all outer panels but what you couldn't see killed me!!
looks like you have some good help though, just get them interested enough to be hooked! They will be lifetime old car junkies. I pretty much know where my son will be every weekend..
The local cruise ins...
Progress is always good, looking good, keep us posted......

Thanks guys, I will be back out there plugging away today. There seems to be a surprise around every corner.
I'm glad my son and grandsons are helping plus I have help from fellow mac members Benn and Carl.
The inner fenders are repops butt the passenger side has the spot for the battery. I couldn't salvage the original. I plan on putting a box there for under hood storage. You know, a place to keep my flares and reflecters and maybe an extra quart of oil and stuff like ihat. I don't think that inner fender will take away from the truck that much. I'm hoping it will work anyway.

Well, today was a little slow. I managed to get some work done on the passenger side but it's a long ways from complete. I managed to poke a hole in my middle finger nail. It kinda took the wind out of my sails for about an hour. Dang near passed out. Hurt like a bugger. Once I got back into the groove I ran out of welding wire and decided to call it a day.
I wacked my head 3 times this weekend, burnt my thumb on a freshly ground piece of metal and poked a hole in my middle finger nail. I thought it was time to walk away while I'm still mobile

Wyatt, I didn't see a good pic of your lower door hinge panels. Just curious to the condition. My lower cowl boxes were rusted out bad which in turn led to the hinge panels being gone. I replaced mine with the patches and was just curious to if you had the same problem??? you are making good headway on the replacements and it looks nice. Keep up the good work and keep us posted.....

Anthony, The lower door hindge panels were toast. I replaced the passenger side today and began the cab mounts and the floor. I sure am getting an education on replacing rusted parts. The floor pans I got weren't even big enough to do the job. I'll have to add to the passenger side to make it right. I'll get some pics up Sunday evening.
Thinking about calling my truck Patches instead of Big Betty.
