I have a friend with a 70's F100 that moved the mounting location for the i-beams up 2 inches and notched the cross member to get more of a drop without having to switch to something like a CV front end or mustang 2. The sway bar makes a world of difference in the handling.

There are some after market ones available too.
by "long ear" I assume you mean notched ear, right? One goes on top, one goes on bottom. On mine the driver's side is top and passenger side bottom.66SouthernClassic wrote:
