here is 1 of the 8 new exhaust flanges for the yblocks exhaust that will run from rams horns to lakes pipes. the flanges are vintage 4 bolt style and were cut for me by steve at IC

i got the bends....from speedway today. these are going to be welded up to the flanges and down to the lakes pipes.

garbz has had some free time so he started on the pipes that will connect the ram horns to the lakes pipes

OPWK got the inner fenders sprayed with blitz black this past week. im going to be trying to get back to working on the truck. i started up a new business and its taken over my life and finishing up the truck has taken a back burner. again!

OPWK got more primer yesturday. hes going to be back at it soon. and the bed is coming home this weekend so we can start working on it. it needs a new floor and body work

Im Back! I hope you all are ready for whats about to come. A pristine, rust free, long bed is about to be cut down and tweaked a little with a unibody rear roll pan. The Paint is picked out and bought. The Interior and seats are being recovered. And the Y block is headed off to be rebuilt.

im doing well. just slammed with the new business. the truck got set on the back burner for awhile. my business took off and takes up all of my time, scott "opwk" was doing the body work/paint job and his life got busy so he had to stop. garbz has some health issues hes dealing with right now so hes on a break. so the truck is back at my house and is roughly put back together. ive been searching for a nice short bed but have had no lock. so i pulled the trigger on a pristine long bed that we are going to shorten and add a few trick touches to it. the y block was supposedly rebuilt but i have no proof that it was done. so im going to send it out and see what needs to be done. the next few pictures i post are of where the truck stands as of now and a few pictures of whats being worked on.

had to repair the area where the metal is sandwiched together on both sides of the core support just under the head light buckets


its a shame that this work had to be done. the core support it perfect. but after the media blasting you could see the rust in the usual spots under the headlight bucket area


all of the areas were reblasted, primered, welded back into place, then leaded up. you cant even tell the work was done
