Well from the title you should guess we will be heading to K.C. in 2012. Gerry has the hotel booked and the dates set. I will let him fill you in on all the details, I now have the sign in my top hat ( if you were here in Iowa you would know what that means ) so we hope to be seeing you in K.C. in 2 Years. .............Kid

oops, had the wrong year in there so I fixed it

I'm sorry I missed SS4, but the date was a problem. :(

Late August is tough for families with school commitments. I realize that no date is perfect, but if you could back it up a week or so, it would conflict less with that.... :D

3157 kms or 1962 miles form moncton New Brunswick to kansas city. That would be a solid 3 days driving in a truck that is far from complete at this point.

Doesn't hurt to dream though, I bet you don't get many east coast canadians out to slick stock! The trip would be epic.... I'm going to focus on building the truck for the time being, but would love to attend an even like slickstock with the old girl.

Castruck came down in his hardly-broken-in-super-deluxe-full-o-awesomeness-got-pulled-aside-by-the-mounties-just-so-they-could-peek-under-the-hood-1964 and he's from Missisauga.

2 years is a long time and we're all here to help. You just have to do it.

man, i'm spoiled. but that being said and having been to two slickstocks, i would deliver pizzas or mow lawns for the money to attend the next one if i had to. once you have gone to one and actually met these fine people, you will not miss another. i have been involved with a few different car clubs and this is by far the greatest bunch of enthusiasts on the planet!
no fame, no glory, no trophies, nothing...but the pure enjoyment of the slick brotherhood. there is no group i would rather drink beer with until 3:00am!

Will book my room asap! 14 hours is a long drive though. Might just bring a picture book instead of my Slick.

Toughen up and be a man. I drove the N all the way from Central Texas and back. It was 980 miles one way of driving fifty year old technology. If you have ever wondered what it would be like to drive a semi fifty years ago, drive the N for about 200 miles on a two lane road bucking a head wind with a load on it. It was a twenty one hour drive home from Altoona. I averaged 45.6 MPH coming home, that did include four short stops for fuel and food. With out the stops the average speed would probably have been about 53 to 57 MPH.
