3 speed question.

Will a 1965 light duty 3 speed bolt to a 79 302? I know there were changes in bellhousing design, but don't know when. If not, what about a 1979 3 speed that's connected to a 300 I6?

If your 65 3 speed was bolted to a 240 or 300 6 cylinder, they should bolt up. the 79 w/ the 300 has a transmission that should bolt up to your 302 as well.

The 240/300/289/302/351w patterns are all the same. If you have an FE donor tranny, no dice.
