Slick 60's

Sooooo, yesterday i busted the rings off the split rims i have laying around... it was not that hard to do.(they were flat) this morning i stopped by discount tire and asked them if they could get the tires off for me, the guy said um... ok...2.50 a tire for disposal plus a buck each for taking them off. i went in and paid, the guy said about an hour i will call you. this was at 8:30 am 2:30 pm i called them, the manager said they cant get the tires off, i had to go down there and tell them how to get them off...Duh! remove the tubes and liners and the tires will come off, the guy busting them down was none to happy when i said guess there is a reason your not suposed to do split rims.

Did you get paid for doing the labor? At least say you got your money back. Not a huge amount, but seems like it should go back in your pocket

No, i was just glad to get the tires off so the rims can go to the scrap yard... Maybe, one day they will be reincarnated into a Kia or Honda.

The lesson from this: never take commercial truck wheels to discount car tire dealers.
