Shadow,
A FINE-LOOKING SLICK, MY FRIEND!
That shifter looks longer than most.....is it original to your truck?

Thanks BarnieTrk. The Shifter Is Not Original, The PO Had Cut The Old One Down And Tried To Re-thread It For This After Market Shift Knob. Looks Like He Failed A Couple Of Times (Real Short) I Cut Off The Old One And Welded This One On. It Sticks Up Above The Steering Wheel Now. I Like It, And It Has The Right Threads For A Sixties Ford Knob..........

My pop put a transmission in our 66 from a 1 ton truck I think..it has that nearly exact same shifter.. You feel like a MAN shifting with that big ole chunk of steel ... Always liked that about Pops truck.

Sweet - I like the red marbles in the knob ends! NICE!
Looks like the handy, clamp-on flashlight is about as old as the brass fire extinguisher...... and they both look to be older than the truck!
