I think it maybe the ignition warning light,I've changed the dash in the one Im building and the other one someone changed everything!

in my '62 half ton its the brights. whether they changed this in later years I dont know, i'd be surprised though, but I'm pretty sure your uni would be the same as my 62.

hmm brights are off, yet light is on.
One of the billion butt connectors the PO put in must have wired in been wrong.

Laser Aiming Device Enabled Driver Activated, also known as LA DE DA.
Dangit Yukon-- you stole my punch. As I was scrolling down this thread I was museing what silly think I could make up for that light and waddaya know, you beat me.
My one bit of advice when working with the old clusters, particulartly, the high beam indicator, is PAY ATTENTION to the little plastic lens. Its taped in place with 45 year old tape and they will fall off. Don't ask how I know.....

Hey Any of you guys know where I can get a face curtain replacement for the ejection seat in my 66?
I have problems with that and the roof turret release bellcrank control.
Oh yeah what's the half life of the Ejection Ordy Cannister on 66's too?

Good point about the old plastic lenses....mine were shot. What I did with mine was to take small LEDs and pull the leads off. I pushed them through the appropriate holes in the cluster cover. They fit real tight without any adhesive. When the light from behind shines through they look darn near as bright as a real LED! Total cost for 2 green and one red was about $1.69 at Radio Shack.
