I have a 66 with the original 300/3sp set up. The clutch is slipping bad and I have never replaced a clutch in my life. What is going to be the easiest way/ cheapest way to go about the replacement and what is involved?

Kinda hard to give a step-by-step. Best bet would be to go to library a check out a Motors manual or get someone who has some knowledge about this. You can cause yourself a lot of grief if you just dive in without understanding what you are getting into.

Go snag a manual & see if it's really something you want to dive into. The great thing about these trucks is they're very easy to work on...but without some basic knowledge of what you're getting into, it can still turn into a big labor intensive pain in the butt.
