Slick 60's

Couple of road trips that we will probably go on
Abilene and Lindsborg.......
Both towns are about 25 minutes away
They both have some tourist sites

Lindsboyg is a great little spot for brunch, I hear their not early risers!

Lindsborg has deep Swedish roots
Lots of Johnsons, Olsons, Swensons, Petersons ........

Abilene was a cowtown from the days when Marshall Dillon kicked butt
I know some crazy sonofaguns over there... I'm sure they have
Gunslinger blood in them from great grandfathers ....

Both towns have some nice history & tourist interest

Yeah, but you didn`t tell them about Mary in the bathtub!..... or the great junk shops in Abilene, with the hidden Slick tin toy truck!

yes we visited Abilene in 2012 and 2014, and the truck was there both times, it had gone up in price a bit, but due to the size, weight and cost to ship, I tucked it back in to the back of a low shelf for safe keeping for our next return, you guys would love it!, it`s a stake bed truck and in fairly good nic,,,
Pat, I have contacted the local Police and have had you banned from the town till August 2016, just to make it fairer on the rest of us !!

Pat, you haven`t mentioned the Abilene "Greyhound Hall of Fame", I hear they have a great collection of buses that had broken time records and seating capacities ....

... Never been there

Never rode on a greyhound bus either...

I did take Colleen to the bus stop... She rode down to Oklahoma to see a friend

But she came back

How about the Merry go round at the heritage centre, the girls will like that!

But I usally let Colleen do the suitcase thing.....
But it's over a year away Ezer.... No big hurry yet....
